North Star Montessori provides excellent education in an environment where children effectively and independently pursue developmentally appropriate and academically fulfilling learning, in community with others. We have a diverse body of students for their places as stewards of our planet, trustees who serve our communities and leaders in our global economy. Our methodology blends Montessori methods and the best practices available in education. Our school offers beautiful indoor environments with extensions to the natural environment. We have strong infant, toddler, and kindergarten programs that are culture-rich, locally rooted, globally aware, environmentally responsible, and inclusive. Without compromising our Montessori values, we strive to meet the needs of the families in our community so that children from diverse backgrounds can fully participate in our programs. Our school nurtures students, staff, teachers, and parents physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We focus on what we have in common while respecting our differences to truly learn the meaning of service together. Students will typically remain at North Star Montessori School from early childhood through Kindergarten.
